It not only disrupted their family life and their friendships, Art’s infidelity had a huge impact on Meg, her sense of self, her thoughts, her emotions, and her physical well-being.

REFLECTING ON THE TRAUMA (PISD)

In the novel BEYOND PISD, Meg’s immediate response to discovery was disbelief and then anger (Page 2). In later chapters, she experienced a range of reactions (Pages 6, 16,17, 20). Meg’s therapist helps her understand the complex trauma she was experiencing (Page 229).
